The difference between the flat & slope tip is purely on the casing. The needles inside do not differ. Casing is a preference amongst artists. You will find the sloped tip casing slightly wider which allows more flexibility in the needle movement. The flat tip casing is slimmer, causing the needle to be moer stable with an improved visibility.
